Roisin is the author of the historical thriller "Dancing with the Devil". Set against the historical background of the early 1920s in Ireland, a period of enormous political turmoil when the fiercely fought war of independence had led to the island of Ireland seceding from the United Kingdom of Great Britain, we follow the destiny of Iseult Fitzgerald, a fiery but spoilt member of a privileged Dublin family, following her unwittinginvolvement in a pre-dawn bombing of the Customs House. The events of that day trigger murder, revenge and kidnapping.

Roisin was born in Dublin and has always been passionate about Ireland's history. She travelled to Australia when she was in her early twenties and was immediately drawn to the open nature of the people, as well as the fact that Australians share the same quirky sense of humour as the Irish. The egalitarian society was an aspect Roisin particularly valued, so she decided to settle down and make Australia her home.

She now lives on Queensland's beautiful Sunshine Coast and says that there's nothing quite like looking at palm trees out of her study window, to inspire writing about cold and wintry places!
